AFL - Philadelphia Soul

In 2003, rockstar Jon Bon Jovi became team owner for a new Arena Football League expansion team. He looked to Gameplan Creative to develop the team identity for his Philadelphia Soul, and I was lucky enough to play a big part in all the design fun. The Soul quickly became one of the league's most successful and recognizable franchises, a fact reflected in its record merchandise sales. We chose a unique color palette of graphite grey, sky blue and black which gave the Soul a memorable and popular team brand.

Additionally I was able to create the Soul's field graphics, stationery system, program covers, media guides and several other inaugural season collateral elements. It was really a dream come true seeing my sketches turn into an entire team brand. Could some one please cue 'Livin' on Prayer'?
