EFLI Brand
Gameplan Creative was commissioned to build the identity of a start-up sports league (including league and team names, logos, and colors). As the lead designer, the main challenge I faced was introducing the iconic look of American football to a region that has little knowledge of the game. Team names and logos needed to be flexible (not overly indigenous) to accommodate a shift in locations as the league formalized team logistics. With compressed budgets and production timelines, one uniform template was designed and colors were used to brand the individual teams. This created a cohesive on-field look to introduce the sport to new fans who haven't been exposed to American-style football. From initial sketches to jerseys on the field, it was a neat experience seeing the brand literally take shape before our eyes.

The EFLI League Brand won a Bronze award for Design at the inaugural CLIO Sports Awards in 2014. The CLIO Awards is one of the world's most recognized awards competitions for advertising, design and communications.
